Ranger/Challenger/FreeRider/X-Force: Suspension fork/shock absorber service

Front suspension fork, as well as rear shock absorber, are 2 main parts, that receive the biggest shocks and vibrations and thus requires a regular maintenance after each ride. During this maintenance You should:
  • check the suspension elements/seals for any oil leakage
  • clean and lubricate gliders with an appropriate amount of specialized lubricant and removing excess lubricant with a soft cloth

If You have noticed any oil leakage from the bottom of the part or in the area close to the piston seals, please contact Your local selling dealer or KUBERG Customer Service. Many KUBERG front forks and rear shock absorbers have service kits available.

WARNING!
  • If You don’t have suffcient mechanical knowledge, experience and proper tools, we strongly recommend, that You have these operations done by your selling dealer or at Your local motorcycle service center!
  • Because the service of any suspension fork or shock absorber requires specific tools and strict adherence to a specific procedures, we enclose the manuals from the manufacturer. This manuals are intended to guide the user through basic service of front forks.
  • We highly suggest, that the service on these forks is performed by an experienced suspension mechanic. Service is supported by the identification of common parts and assemblies, that have been assembled into Service Kits. The purpose of these manuals will be to describe conditions that may drive the need for service and to provide installation instructions for the kits.
